Adobe Connect
Adobe Connect is a web conference tool for the synchronal traineeship. It encloses a lot of features like audio and video conference, interviews , whiteboard, chat , documents storage and desktop – and application sharing. The tool is integrated into the moodle learn program for online studies at the VFH by a moodle block.
First Steps
First should be tested if the flash plugin works and if a connection can be established. The band width should be adequate and all add ins has to be tested concerning its functionality. Therefor Adobe Connects offers a page where you can test it:

During the installation of the hardware for the webcam and headset maybe problems can occur. On this topic we like to inform you that the university Hagen created some videos for help. In the majority of cases the installation of headset and webcam functions without problems but sometimes there is a little detail which leads to a problem. In this case only the producer or the system software can help.
